Extension of Validity Of License By The ministry of Road and Transport :
The ministry of Road and Highways said that between January 31 and February 12, 2024, applicants experienced difficulties in accessing license-related services because of problems with the Sarathi portal’s infrastructure.
Because of this, the Ministry of Road Transport has declared that licenses for conductors, drivers, and learners that expire between January 31, 2024, and February 15, 2024, will be accepted until February 29, 2024, without penalty.
“In response to the challenges encountered by citizens during the service disruption period on the PARIVAHAN portal, and with the aim of ensuring minimal inconvenience, the Ministry has resolved that learner’s, driving, and conductor licenses expired between January 31st, 2024, and February 15th, 2024, will be considered valid until February 29th, 2024, without imposing any penalties,” said the ministry.
