Celebrated director Surya Kiran, whose films include “Satyam” and “Dhana 51,” sadly passed away in Chennai at the age of 51. According to accounts, he died of jaundice. Before turning to directing, Surya Kiran had over 200 appearances in films as a child actor. A major turning point in his career was reached with his directorial debut, “Satyam,” which starred Sumanth and Genelia in the lead roles and became a blockbuster hit in 2003.

Famous for helming blockbuster movies like “Dhana 51,” “Brahmastram,” “Raju Bhai,” and “Chapter 6,” Surya Kiran also dazzled on television as a Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 competitor. The actress Kalyani, who made her debut in “Avunu Valliddharu Ishtapaddaru,” was the subject of a divorce from his first marriage. Notably, Sujitha, the sister of Surya Kiran, is a well-known television actress. 

 The cinema industry has been rocked by Surya Kiran’s unexpected death, which has led to an outpouring of sympathy for his grieving family and prayers for his departed soul.
